Tuesday night at Awaken we had an awesome time! God did amazing things in all of our lives. We had two new people that came and they really enjoyed themselves.
The message that we had on our hearts to bring was about how the enemy can steal your identity. God gave you a purpose and the enemy knows that and he knows that whenever God gives someone a purpose, its dangerous for him. The enemy will stop at nothing to take it away from you. But we need to be aware of it and watch out for his sneaky tricks. Jesus had a purpose. And we see that when Jesus went into the wilderness to fast and to be tempted, the enemy came and tried to get him to fall so that he could steal His purpose. The enemy will try and do the same to us. But you see, Jesus never fell. It was impossible for the enemy to do anything to Him because He never gave in. We need to be people who Never Give In to the enemy’s tricks!
After the message was done, we felt led to pray for each person there. We asked God to either restore or to give a new burning passion in their hearts. So we did, and God touched each heart deeply.
